Newcastle Ale Painted Maple Leaf

Made to order...allow approximately one week for everything to align and begin to dance...

Here's a leaf cut from the side of a Newcastle Brown Ale bottle from England and painted in a mottled fashion with vitrea 160 permanent glass paint from France from a found maple leaf in Minnesota with flashbacks from my childhood sitting underneath Mrs. Sutton's kitchen table in Winnipeg, Manitoba with her German Shepherd dog...it's an international production! Brian Sutton is the fellow that was laughing--with his head thrown back--when a bird flew overhead, leaving a bad taste in his mouth...

So, anyway...the leaf measures 4" wide by 3 1/4" long, which--after you add the 1 1/4" copper stem--conveniently fits my 'add the length and width measurements together, and you get a Fellini film series,' not to mention my poor man's slumping technique. Oh...the whole thing is copper foiled and soldered with lead free solder. Comes with a spro ball bearing swivel. And don't forget...slight variations are to be expected and celebrated--hee haw!

If you can find it, I think this would be swell with a mandolin, accordion, tuba trio with a grilled cheese sandwich. Did I mention it's mottled?
