Upcycled Vintage Hawaiian Dress - 3T/4T
This is a really fun, one-of-a-kind dress. I had a vintage Hawaiian shirt (from a trip my grandparents took to Hawaii years ago) and thought it would make the perfect toddler dress. I added white trim for a nice pop against the orange dress. The dress buttons up the back and I changed out the original (boring) brown buttons for white flower buttons that echo the white hibiscus flowers. It is 23” long and 25” around at the underarms, so it is roughly a size 3T or 4T.
I pre-shrink all my fabric in warm water using eco-friendly detergent that is unscented, plant-based, neutral in pH, and phosphate/petrochemical/formaldehyde free. It is not tested on animals and is free from animal products. The seams are serged for durability.
