What do you make, and how are your products environmentally-friendly?
We offer screen printed baby and toddler apparel (t-shirts and bodyshirts), baby wraps and baby basics. We work with organic cotton  and hemp and seek out the highest quality fabrics for our products. We screen print with non toxic waterbased textile inks.

Why did you start making earth-friendly goods?
After the birth of our first baby, we searched for non toxic organic clothing for her and at the time found very few options. So we started CurlyMonkey as a means of providing an organic option for parents such as ourselves.

What is your favorite material to work with? Why?
We prefer organic fabrics such as cotton and hemp. Fibers which are soft and have not been treated with harsh chemicals that can be harmful to babies' sensitive skin and the environment.  Of course the dyeing process is important too!

What's your favorite thing you've ever made? Why?
Our first organic baby wrap. My daughter loved it and babywearing is so great!

Education. if you take the time to read what goes into the production of some of your favorite products you'll feel compelled to change your lifestyle and seek out higher quality products which will innevitably lead you to a greener way of life.

What's your #1 tip for crafting greener?
Know what you use! Sourcing is important specially if you create for kids!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

what a cool interview and I love that picture!

I love CurlyMonkey's work and she is so right about education. So many products have hidden environmental costs.
