We're so excited about this weekend... we're headed down to DC as sponsors of this year's Crafty Bastards fair! Crafty Bastards is one of the biggest indie craft fairs on the East Coast, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of it. I want to give a shout-out to the lovely ladies at Hello Craft who organize the fair and were the ones to get us involved. We've got approximately $1500 worth of environmentally-friendly goods to split between four very lucky winners. The handiwork of over 30 cosa verde members, and all the items up for grabs, will be on display in the cosa verde booth. Crafty shoppers can sign up at the booth for their chance to win!

Items in the prize packages are just too numerous to list here, but include panel paintings by Dolan Geiman, an upcycled teacup from trixiedelicious, a stool made from repurposed wine barrel slats from Stilnovo, and bicycle tire belts from re-bicycle. Other items include organic clothing, handspun, cruelty-free yarn, original jewelry designs and earth-friendly bath products. The drawing is free to enter, but cosa verde suggests a $1 donation--all proceeds will go to plant trees through Trees for the Future.
