I'd like to win this for my good friend Angie. We've been friends since grade school and reconnected about 5 years ago. There is a group of us (5 girls) that meet each year to unwind, drink some wine and now we craft! Two of us have been knitting for a while and we've taught the other 3 how to knit. Angie is an EXPERT crochet-er! Anyway, having a great friend like this is priceless and giving a special gift like this would mean the world (to both of us).

Thanks!!
Sandy

Hi,
I love checking our her beautiful shop and clothes. The craftswomanship in her items is incredible.

I'd love to win this gift certificate for my godmother, Rachel, who appreciates luxurious fibres and fabrics, elegant cuts and who would look so beautiful in any of her pieces. Thanks!

First of all... LOVE the designs and craftmanship... you do beautiful work!!! :)
I'm one of the before mentioned "school girls" (Sandy's post). I would love for her to get this wonderful gift, as she's the one who turned me on to Tortilla Girl!! She LOVES the textured tube scarf... and would look beautiful in it!
Teaching me to knit is just one of the many gifts she's given to me through out our friendship, and I second her sentiment... our friendship is priceless!!!
Merry Christmas,
Angie

I'd love to win the marianne oversized for my aunt Holly. Her family is having a tough time & yet she still does so much for me. I'd love to get her something nice for christmas.

i would get this for my sister jessie since she loves to be online and is very fashionable and it would be great for her after all the schooling and tests are done.

Jeppie my sister would love this as she could wrap herself in warmth and happiness and comfort with these items and be fashionable to boot!

I'd love to give this to my niece, Connie. She's entering the working world and could use some great fashionable clothes. :)

Hi! I would love to win this for my best friend, Diama. We have known each other for 10 years and I will never forget the first time I saw her. She walked into class with the most beautiful scarf wrapped expertly around her neck and I knew that I had to know her. We both knit and call each other "scarf girls." She would absolutely love the beautiful craftsmanship and textiles of Tortillagirl, not to mention her use of sustainable materials!

I would love to win this Tortillagirl gift certificate for my daughter Parisa. She is the MOST creative knitter I know. She is also a singer/songwriter and is presently residing far from her Northern Irish home, in Brisbane, Australia. This will be the first Christmas that she will be away from the family. A gift certificate for the amazing creations of Tortillagirl, whose work I love, would cheer her up so much!

This would be wonderful to give to my sister Laura. She's been so busy working and going to school that she doesn't have much time to get out and shop. This would be a wonderful surprise for her.

The pom-pom slouch hat would be adorable on my friend Leah, who's always wearing the best hand-made hats, and will need something warm for winter!

This prize would go to one of my best friends, Annie. She always puts her daughters first, and hasn't bought any new clothes for herself in months (if not years). She definitely deserves this!

This gift-certificate would brighten the holidays for my girlfriend Grace. She is always looking for hand-crafted, unique clothing designs. A seamstress herself, I think Torilla Girl's look is just her style.

My good friend, Laura, is an illustrator and print-maker in NYC, so she very much appreciates supporting other handmade artists. She got this mod, city style that is unique and quirky. As soon as I saw those hats on Torilla Girl's site, I thought of L!

Oh, I know my friend Megan would love to wear one of those hats or scarves this winter.

I would love to win this gift certificate for the best friend a girl could ask for, Courtney. She helps me be the best version of myself. And she will love everything in TortillaGirl's shop.

I just adore TG's designs and her knitwear. She is actually one of the people who helped me learn how to knit, with lots of encouragement and some helpful hints here and there.
The other person who helped me learn is my friend, Julie. She's a single mother to three young ones and has been going through a lot of tough times in her personal life right now including severe money problems and can't afford to buy much in the way of knitting supplies, let alone luxury yarns. I would LOVE to gift her with a gift certificate so she could treat herself to a wonderful knitted item or some other special handmade TG treat to cheer herself up.

I've been warm and very content with my tube scarf from Becky's latest collection---would love to share Tortilla Girl goodness with my friend Rachel from my job. It can get p-r-etty chilly in Jersey City when the wind blows and we're rushing off to teach classes. Rachel's a college professor like me and also:

an actress
a musician (violinist!)
singer

And of course, a fabulous friend. If only we had more time to talk about things besides "business"!

Hence I'd like to share one of my favorite things, handmade goodness by Becky---a slouchy hat maybe or a pair of rockin' armwarners, with Rachel!

Thanks for this giveaway Becky and, oh yes, those grey mitts are also coming in very handy on chilly morns!

Hi, My closest friend; Marty, had a slight stroke earlier this year. It was so frightening for me.
I would love to win this gift certificate for her to
pick out something nice for herself. I am so happy
that she is my friend. Thanks, Cindi

I would love to win this for my beautiful, fashion-conscious younger sister Rebecca who would love some new clothes for college next year!

What beautiful clothing! My friend Elaina would wear these so well, and it has been so long since she has been able to shop for herself. I'd love to give this to her.

I'd like to win this for my sister in law Becky in Colorado. She is a quilter and appreciates fine sewing. This tortilla girl line is gorgeous. It would spread sunshine anywhere she wore it--even up in the highest mountains of Colorado.

Oh MY do I want win this for my sister in law, Mary, so badly! :) She ooos and ahhhhs over my picnic bag every time she sees it and I'd LOVE for her to have something of her own!

*fingers crossed*
